Carmen G. was recognized by the Salon des métiers d'art du Québec ( Prix Jean-Marie Gauvreau ) in 2009 for the technical and conceptual quality of her work.

After 35 years on the street, Carmen now has her studio on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Urban life and nature continue to influence Carmen.
